A “just in time” production system is in operation at every Vender Group centre and so they are ready to guarantee availability of products in terms or the required quantity and timing.
To achieve this Vender Group can count on two large automated warehouses located in Parma, unique in Europe:
• for rolled sections, with three latest generation robots and 3,600 pallet positions to handle a total weight of 11,000 tons;
• for long products, with a latest generation robot and 1,000 crates to handle a total weight of 3,000 tons.
This ensures that stocking and handling operations are efficient and extremely fast.
